Scientifically, Shvetā or white is assumed to be a ‘non-colour,’ but for us at Kora it contains within its realm thousand evocative qualities of perfection. From the pristine white of the lotus to that of the conch shells held in the hands of various deities, white is indeed versatile.
Come summer and this colour lends itself to a plethora of moods -- formal and informal. The collection featured here is in soft summery fabrics with delicate thread couching or dori work that creates a raised lace like effect. Uncomplicated sillhouettes enhance the elegance of the garments. Hand beaded tassels and delicate printing create another layer of interest.
