Ambika
AMBIKĀ
The Sanskrit word Ambikā translates to “mother goddess" in English. It is also another name for Durga Maa, an epithet for Mahadevi and Maa Parvati, and is associated with celestial and faithful undertones. The fall season or Sharad Ritu in Bharat starts with the worship of the many forms of the Mother Goddess during Navrātri, the nine nights of worship of the sacred feminine. Ambikā, our latest collection, is an ode to these representations of femininity.
Plush Silk-velvet garments are highlighted with delicate hand-embroidered sequins, beads and zari motifs. The placements are unique, while the colours are rich and deep.
